Meet the Rev. Ron Wickey

Fr. Ron Wickey’s qualifications in theology and music are too numerous to list. An Episcopalian Priest, Fr. Ron has studied Theology at Union Theological Seminary in Manhattan, Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton NJ, Concordia, St. Louis MO, and Mercer Theological in Garden City, LI.


A prodigy on the Organ, Fr. Ron has been playing divine music since the age of 13. He has been the Organist/Choir Master in churches throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, including St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Carle Place, Westbury United Methodist Church and Grace Lutheran, Malverne.  Most recently Fr. Ron served at St. Mark’s Westhampton Beach NY as the associate priest and director of music.


In addition to his duties at St. Mary’s Shelter Island, Fr. Ron is the founding director of the Peconic Bay Masterworks Choir of the North Fork. This choir presents the premier performance of Christmastide on the North Fork at the First Presbyterian Church of Mattituck with a choir of 65 voices and full orchestra.
